Honea Path Community Chest
Honea Path Community Chest, Constitution adopted May 15, 1957.
Mr. Keys Welborn helped organize, with the help of the Merchants Association, Mr. Henry Banister and Mr. Joe N. Pinson served on the Board of Directors. They also worked as Campaign Managers.
First officers; Mr. Sel Appelt, President; Mrs. Roy Hughes, Treasurer; Mrs. John Harris, Executive Secretary.
The organization provides funds for scouts, rescue squad, senior citizens, recreation department and vocational rehabilitation.
