Dogwood Park
Dogwood Garden Club was organized in 1940 and presently consist of 25 members.  The club provides educational experiences for all club members and community citizens to develop a love for all forms of gardening while creating interest in civic beautification.  Dogwood Garden Club considers the creation of Dogwood Park in 1963 as one of their most outstanding projects.  Several grants have recently allowed the club to upgrade the park located on Ervin Street to encourage people to enjoy the natural beauty, picnic shelter, playground and Carolina Fence Garden.
Dogwood Garden Club plants and maintains seasonal flowers in beds and planters along Honea Path's Main Street and in the Plaza Shopping Center.  To welcome travelers, the club maintains the flower beds surrounding the six Welcome to Honea Path entrance signs. To proclaim the Christmas season, the club erects the Nativity Scene in the center of town and places a Christmas arrangement in the Jennie Erwin Library.
Dogwood Garden Club has erected a Carolina Fence Garden at the Honea Path Elementary and Honea Path Middle School to provide students an outdoor classroom to inspire a better appreciation of nature and to teach the various symbols of the state of South Carolina.  The club continually supports the town's effort to make Honea Path a healthier place in which to live.

Weddings, Receptions, Birthday Parties and Picnics often are enjoyed at the  park.
